Single Mode Micro Blown fiber cable

Air blown fiber is the product with small diameter, lightweight, highly flexibility and propos stiffness, and it can be blow in to the micro duct. the fiber are coated with a soft acrylate resin which provides excellent dimensional and thermal stability to cushion the fibers. the resin can be easily stripped in connecting the fiber. The outer sheath is a thermoplastic that is of low friction.

 50/125 Multimode Fiber Optic

50/125 is one of the most commonly used multimode optical fiber; the other commonly used is 62.5/125 types. Here the 50 and 125 is measurement by the unit micron. One meter is equal to one million micron. Below is a picture to illustrate the basic model of 50/125 multimode fiber cables; you can identify what the 50 parts and 125 parts are.

There is a special kind 50/125 multimode fibers, which is called OM3 50/125. People usually refer 62.5/125 as the OM1 MMF, common type 50/125 MMF as OM2, OM3 is also 50/125, but it is different from OM2 because it support 10Gig data transmission. The OM3 50/125 fiber optic cable is also called laser optimized fiber cable. Both OM1 and OM2 multimode cables use the orange color jacket (standard practice for commonly used indoor multimode), OM3 use a special color, which is called Aqua.

We supply a wide range of 50/125 fiber optic cable assemblies including OM2 and OM3 cables; they feature the stable quality, good looking and very fast delivery.

62.5/125 Multimode Fiber Optic

62.5/125 multimode optical fiber is widely used in multimode cables. 62.5 refer to the outer diameter of the multimode optical fiberglass core, 125 here means the outer diameter of the cladding, and the measurement unit is micron. Below is a picture to explain the structure of the basic type 62.5/125 multimode cables.

The 62.5/125 multimode fiber cable assemblies can be with various kinds of jacket, like OFNR, OFNP, LSZH, etc and the connector types are optional like SC, FC, LC, ST, MTRJ.62.5/125 multimode fiber is also used in outdoor cables. You know there is another multimode fiber cable, which is 50/125 multimodes, when you choose a multimode fiber cable; you need to make sure whether you need is 50/125 or 62.5/125, usually they are not compatible with each other.

62.5/125 multimode fiber optic cable products supplied by Visiontek is fully compatible with industrial standard and they are strictly tested during the production. We supply a wide range of 62.5/125 multimode fiber cable assemblies with competitive prices and fast delivery.

9/125 Single Mode Fiber Optic

9/125 fiber optic cables are typical type single mode fiber cables. It is widely used in outdoor cables that are usually used as backbones in the fiber optic network, and it also is used in indoor cables like patch cord assemblies. Here the measurement unit of the 9 and 125 is μm (micron), one meter is equal to one million micron. So you can imagine how small the 9/125 optical fiber is, it is much smaller in diameter than human hair.

As you may have noticed, outdoor 9/125 single mode fiber cables is rather big diameter, while the indoor 9/125 singlemode fiber is smaller diameter, but they are both 9/125 type cables. Here we would like to give a picture to illustrate what the "9" and "125" means.

Above picture is a simple model of the commonly used 9/125 single mode fiber cable. We can see there are three layers of the cable. The 9 micron part refer to the center layer ofthe optical fiber, its diameter is 9micron. The 125 part is center layer together with the cladding layer; their total diameter is 125micron. Then there are other materials like strength unit surround them, and then the jacket of the cable. you can understand easily why different out shape cables can all be with 9/125 single mode fibers.

OM2 Fiber Optic Cables

OM2 fiber optic cable refer to the commonly used 50/125 traditional fiber cable. OM2 is a standard for multimode cable defined by ISO/IEC 100801, the 50/125 OM2 multimode fiber was first invented by Corning in the 1970s. OM2 was not widely used before the 1990s but now it has grown to be popular and even the first choice for newly established networks compared with OM1 the 62.5/125 multimode fiber.

OM1 and OM2 are both orange jacketed cable, and you cannot judge from the outer diameter to identify OM1 and OM2 fiber cable, because the 50/125 and 62.5/125 refer not to whole cable diameter but to the fiber inside. Usually there will be words printed on the cable jacket showing its specifications; it will describe the fiber type. OM2 fiber cable max attenuation is same as OM1 fiber cable, but the overfilled launch is much higher than OM1 using 1300nm. We supply OM1, OM2 and the OM3 10gig multimode fiber optic cables and assemblies.

OM3 Fiber Optic Cable

We supply OM3 50/125 multimode fiber optic cables that are compliant to ISO/IEC 11801 standards. These cables are used for 10Gbps networks to meet the requirement of continuous growing of high data rates.

The OM3 fiber cable has been developed according to the newest 10Gbit standards and allows the data transmission over a distance up to max 300 m at 850 nm. Due to its excellent optical characteristics, other than the conventional 600/1200 nm fibers, the OM3 fiber optic cable is applicable for backbone connections based on a cost-efficient multi-mode technology up to 10Gbit. OM3 fiber patch cables are also available for short distance high data rates fiber optic communications.
We supply the OM3 fiber optic cables both indoor type and outdoor types, including various kinds of OM3 fiber cable assemblies with various connectors like SC, ST , FC, LC, MTRJ ,etc.

OM4 Fiber Optic Patch Cables,OM4 50/125 Optical Fiber Patch Cords

OM4 Fiber Optic Patch Cables

OM4 fiber optic patch cables, duplex/simplex, SC/FC/ST/LC/MU/MTRJ/E2000, MTP/MPO, Multimode, OM4 50/125 optical fiber patch cord, LSZH, OFNR, OFNP, OM4 optical fiber cable manufacturer.

OM4 fiber standards was approved in 2009, it defines the next generation multimode optical fiber for high speed fiber optic transmission. Actually, OM4 could be regarded as improvement on the existed OM3 standards. The key performance differences lie in the bandwidth specifications for which the TIA standard stipulates the following three benchmarks: effective modal bandwidth of at least 4,700 MHz-km at 850 nm; overfilled modal bandwidth of at least 3,500 MHz-km at 850 nm; overfilled modal bandwidth of at least 500 MHz-km at 1,300 nm. Huihong Technologies OM4 fiber patch cables fully meet the standard of TIA OM4; we can make custom OM4 fiber optic patch cable assemblies.

Our OM4 fiber optic patch cable assemblies are ready to meet the requirement for future 40G and 100G fiber optic networks, we have simplex, duplex and multi fiber patch cords OM4 types, and our OM4 optical fiber cables are indoor and outdoor types, with armored and non-armored options. Contact our sales team for the details of our low cost high performance OM4 fiber optic patch cables.
